The European Banking Authority (EBA) launched a consultation in October 2019 on a new comprehensive technical implementation standard (ITS) for disclosure. This should summarize various disclosure requirements in an ITS and also implement changes due to CRR II. Another goal is to harmonize with reporting requirements. The GBIC evaluates such harmonization of disclosure and reporting in principle positively, provided that this relieves the banks. Some prerequisites for this are listed in the comment letter.
