The German Banking Industry Committee (GBIC) has commented on the EU consultation paper on a European data strategy. In general, the GBIC welcomes the intention to establish a harmonised EU data strategy. It is important to implement common European data spaces in which trustworthy data infrastructures prevail and interoperability requirements are implemented within the framework of an efficient European data economy.
