GBIC comments on Guidellines on ancillary services undertakings

The German Banking Industry Committee (GBIC) has submitted comments on the draft EBA guidelines on the identification of providers of ancillary services. In addition to technical details, the GBIC criticises the fact that the guidelines exceed their mandate due to the broad interpretation of the term ‘ancillary services undertakings’, which is not covered by the wording of Article 4(1)(18) of the CRR.
