Implementing Technical Standards on Pillar 3 Data Hub (EBA/CP/2024/20)

Comments on EBA consultation paper

On 11 October 2024, the European Banking Authority (EBA) initiated a consultation on the Pillar 3 data hub. The EBA was mandated to publish on its website all prudential disclosures for the institutions centrally through a single electronic access point. In its comments, the German Banking Industry Committee (GBIC) made clear that, among other things, it is committed to a seamless submission procedure for disclosure reports, a permanent test environment in the data hub and an unbureaucratic method of requesting personal contact data. Further details can be found in the GBIC’s full comments.
