With growing ESG regulation, the demands on asset management companies and depositaries are increasing. Close cooperation between both parties is essential, especially with regard to ESG-related investment limits. The German Banking Industry Committee, the Association of Foreign Banks in Germany, and the German Investment Funds Association have developed a best-practice approach for this purpose. It provides guidance for designing effective coordination processes in the context of investment limit monitoring.
